Adult learners are brushing up for work by upgrading their reading, writing, communication, and math skills. Students are at a variety of levels, including Adult Basic (ABE), pre-GED and GED levels.
A Very Special Angel        The Hartford-based Circle of Hands Foundation which reaches out to children afflicted with HIV/AIDS was described as a very special angel by Clovel Folkes, matron of one of three orphanages—Dare to Care, Martha’s House, and Matthew 25:40—the Foundation assists in Jamaica.

Rally For Adult Education, A First At State Capitol Wednesday, March 2, 2011 was an extraordinary day in the city of Hartford. It was a special day, not because of the weather — it did not snow that day, finally.
